Bernd Lohaus - Eupen [video], 2007
Video , 00:09:51

Visiting the sculptor Bernd Lohaus, who had been invited by Hans Theys to install his monumental sculpture 'Eupen' in a park in the town of Beersel on the occasion of the solo show 'Beersel, Eupen und Anderes' at the Herman Teirlinckhuis in Beersel. The sculpture remained there for three years, unspoiled by visitors. We see the artist in a tiny studio, lit by a hole in the wall and furnished by a writing table inherited from his father (who was a lawyer). then we see him flipping wood blocks and finally installing 'Eupen' in Beersel.

Filmed by Hans Theys.
