Hans Theys
Hans Theys ist Philosoph und Kunsthistoriker des 20. Jahrhunderts. Er schrieb und gestaltete fünzig Bücher über zeitgenössische Kunst und veröffentlichte zahlreiche Aufsätze, Interviews und Rezensionen in Büchern, Katalogen und Zeitschriften.
Diese Plattform wurde von Evi Bert (M HKA : Centrum Kunstarchieven Vlaanderen) in Zusammenarbeit mit der Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerpen (Forschungsgruppe ArchiVolt), M HKA, Antwerpen und Koen Van der Auwera entwickelt. This video was shot on August 30th 2008, before the opening of Marlene Dumas' show For Whom the Bell Tolls at Zeno X Gallery, Antwerp (September 6 - October 11, 2008). This show was dedicated to her mother. Mrs. Dumas talks about each painting, commenting on the used techniques and subject material.
